Pittsburgh Christian
Hockey Camp Planning Committee
In June of 2003, Brenda Roman, a local
youth hockey mother set out to find a Christian youth hockey
camp in western Pennsylvania. Finding none in the region,
she joined together eight families from the Pittsburgh area,
to form the first Pittsburgh Christian Hockey Camp Planning
Committee. Those founding members were:
Bill and Alison Christie
Joe
Pajer
Andy
and Sue Pulkowski
Scott and Barb Robinette
Brenda and Ron Roman
Keith and Patty Sacchini
Keith and Karen Thomas
Ken and Kathy Wagner

The planning committee is responsible
for all aspects of the camp. They recruit campers, counselors
and volunteers, design the logistics and oversee the on
ice and off ice curriculums, solicit the support of churches,
sponsors and individual donors, and fill the key leadership
roles during camp week. They do this in partnership with
Hockey Ministries International, who provide the professional
coaches, the on-ice curriculum, the spiritual workbook materials
and the financial and insurance underwriting for the camp.
The Planning Committee for the 2008
camp is as follows:
Joe Pajer
Mark Rankin
Keith Regan
Brenda Roman
Keith Sacchini
Ken Wagner
